BioCharacter Name: Kurumi
Character Series: Steel Angel Kurumi
Age: Unknown (Ageless)
Background: Kurumi is an android. She was created by Dr. Ayanokouji and she has a Mark II heartm which is essentially just a power core that receives its energy from mystical rather than mechanial means. It contains the power of the angels, as well as power from demons--a source of such pure evil that it destroys everything in its path. Thankfully, her angel core contains the rage of the demons, which makes her able to use that power without such disastrious effects.
She does not remember her creation, however, because she cannot have memories before her activation.
In the series, she is awakened when a boy accidentally kisses her. This activation not only stirs her but also causes her to be passionately in love with her new "Master," Nakahito. She does ANYTHING for him and is positively obsessed. However, the kiss got its power because Nakahito is a mystic and also happens to love Kurumi. Love is the crucial ingredient. The kiss may awaken her, but love is what gives Kurumi her power to survive.
Kurumi has "sisters", or other Steel Angels also created by Dr. Ayanokouji. One sister, Saki, is awakened when Kurumi kisses her... and thus causes Saki to become in love with Kurumi, causing a rather awkward triangle.
Together with Saki, Nakahito, and some other friends, Kurumi fights her way to free her true creator. In the process, her demon core is awakened out of necessity. If her life is threatened and the angel Kurumi cannot protect herself, the demon power will awaken and totally destroy anything in its path. If it takes over completely, she does not even show mercy to her master. In times like these, Kurumi gets a pair of dark demon wings and her normal purple-blue eyes shine blood red.
Personality: Kurumi is dedicated to her Master, first and foremost. She is obsessive and somewhat crazy. She constantly seeks the approval of her Master, and is always trying to please. If her Master is upset with her, she becomes worries and often thinks her Master hates her. Kurumi is outspoken, strong, independent and somewhat of a trouble maker (even though she is always trying to do good for her Master). Her ideas of what is best may sometimes stray from the ideas of her Master, however, so she needs to be kept in line and given orders on how to behave. Oh... and she LOVES receiving orders. Anything to make Master happy!
